Review: Kiko “Glow Fusion” Highlighter

Good morning, afternoon, night dears. Thought I’d do a quick review on Kikos “Glow Fusion” highlighter. Don’t worry, this will not be long. It’s only one product.

My sister has been on my case about my current highlighter (I can do another post on that if you want) because she says it looks stupid on me. I know, so mean. So one day she stormed down the stairs and attacked my poor unsuspecting face with her highlighter. Best thing she’s ever done. This month. Second best thing. She also bought me a really nice jumper. I loved it, decided to buy it, so here’s the review, and some awkward looking selfies. Sorry.

Packaging: 7/10. I like it. Simple. Can’t go wrong with a bit of black and silver now can we? Also, I like the fact that it’s pressed, means I don’t lose 30% of the product every time I open it.Bonus point for the mirror.

Product payoff: 7/10. It’s not super intense off the bat so a few applications are needed to build on the highlight but I quite like how subtle it is. It’s a good “no make-up” highlighter. “Oh gosh Lis, have you been drinking more water? You’re glowing!” ….” Yeh, clearly getting in my 6 litres a day”

Price: 5/10. I’m not sure if it’s just me being super cheap, but £7.99 for a 5g highlighter is a teenie bit overpriced in my books. The average drugstore highlighter would average around £5, and although Kiko might not be considered drugstore by some, it’s not high end either.

Longevity: 5.5/10. It actually comes off quite easily which is annoying, especially as I touch my face on a regular basis.

GLOW FACTOR: 8/10: As I said, it needs to be built, but I really like it.

Overall: 7/10. I love it, just wish there was more of it for the price.

Have any of you tried this highlighter? If so, what did you think? If you know of any better highlighters feel free to leave a comment.
